Columbia Chorale and Columbia Chamber Choir, under the baton of Dr. Tom Clark, present American Roots and Journeys, a celebration of the rich and diverse choral music of the United States. Select area high school choirs, including guest performers from the Boonville High School choir program, along with the Boonslick Chordbusters, will join the ensembles for a collaborative educational experience celebrating American choral traditions. Highlights of the program include Aaron Copland’s The Promise of Living and the centerpiece of the concert, Randall Thompson’s beloved Frostiana: Seven Country Songs, settings of the poetry of Robert Frost.
