The Missouri River Festival of the Arts returns to Thespian all on August 24-26, 2023 when Boonville hosts the 48th year of exciting musical performances.

Artistic Director David Halen has recruited an outstanding group of musicians, selected a wonderful repertoire and a superb conductor to lead the Missouri River Festival Orchestra!

Thursday, August 24: “A Classical Masterpieces” The Schumann Piano Quintet, featuring Hyejin Cho, piano; and other stellar Classical selections chosen by Artistic Director, David Halen.

Friday, August 25: “Date Night! Music for Fun and Romance” Cree Carrico and Aaron McCallister take the stage for a magical evening of music making. The Patron Reception will follow the concert at the Mercantile, 505 Main Street.

Saturday, August 26: “The Missouri River Festival Orchestra Presents!” Stephanie Childress returns to Thespian Hall to conduct Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5, Le Corsaire by Berlioz, and Rondo Capriccioso, by Sant-Saens, featuring Hann Ji, violin soloist. Ms. Childress is an internationally recognized artist, currently serving as Assistant Conductor of the St. Louis Symphony. Help us welcome her back to Boonville, Missouri!
